This post has been a long time coming, like almost two years. Today, I’m partnering with Crest to show you my night time beauty routine. Read my last beauty routine post from two years ago here.
Some products are truly tried and true, holy grail for me, and some are new finds I’ve stumbled upon and just absolutely love. While some of the products may have changed in my regimen, the actual steps remain the same: Here’s the method to my beaututifcation.
You guys know, I’m mildly obsessed with lattes, so Crest Whitestrips comes in really handy to help with coffee stains. I have always used crest toothpaste but the white strips really takes it up a notch. You apply the strips and leave on for 30 minutes. I do this on a nightly basis. While, I wait for the white strips to do their thing, I get started on my skin care regimen.
Exfoliate- This a must do in my regimen. I get a lot of questions about what helps with dark spots. I havent found the answer as I still struggle with hyper pigmentation two years later, but exfoliating I’ve found to be very helpful. It removes the dead skin cells which overtime can help to reduce the appearance of scars. This charcoal exofialiator is a game changer for me and it’s very affordable. I use it on my face, neck, chest and back. Those are the places that I am prone to breakouts.
Cleanse- With how much I touch my face and just wearing makeup in general, a good cleanser is key. I swear by the Origins Frothy Face Wash and it’s a Holy Grail product for me. I’ve recently tried Urban Skin Rx Even Tone Cleansing Bar and I’m a true fan. One jar lasted me five months! five months!
Tone: I’m not super partial to a toner, but the past 8 months, Ive been using the Rose Petals Witchhazel from.
Masks: I dont mask everyday, but one or twice a week is good. I’m obsessed with the Loreal Masks. I’ve only tried three of them. Also love the Clear Improvement Charcoal mask from Origins.
Serum: I’ve been wearing Serums since I hit 30. Serum’s great primer for your moisturizer. I’ve been loving and using the Elemis Primer for a few months now. Took it on my trip to Thailand and Singapore and it was amazing. I also love the Vitamin C toner from Urban Skin Rx. I look for a toner or skincare product in general with vitamin c and or hyluanoric acid.
Moisturizer: A good moisturizer is key. I use the Elemis Pro Collagen Marine moisturizer for day and night. The night time creme is much thicker which really give your face that luxurious feeling.
Facial Oil: I just started using facial oils: At night, I apply the Elemis Collagen Pro Marine Creme after my moictursier to lock in the moisture. This is a night time post, but during the day, be sure to follow spf after moisturizer.
Eyes: The skin around the eyes the most sensitive so I never neglect them. I dab little bit of the Elemis Pro Collagen Marine creme around my eyes.
And there you have it! Have you tried any of the products in my regimen? What’s been your experience? Or do you have your own Holy Grail products? I’d love to hear!
