5 shoes you need for Spring

I wanted to name this post Passion to Purpose, but I’ll share more on a later day.

When Goodwill® Industries International reached out to me to partner on their Goodwill Sale with Herbergers, it was a no brainer for several reasons. A) I love Goodwill, I mean who doesn’t? If you’ve never shopped at Goodwill stores, please start because they have some really cute pieces, and the prices are well, pretty inexpensive. B) I love Herbergers. In-fact, it was my first retail job in undergrad, and I have fond memories there. It’s where I got my first pair of Silver Jeans, which was a big deal to me. Read more on that HERE. 

 

The Goodwill Sale at Herbergers is a twice yearly event, where you donate gently used clothing, and home goods and you receive three coupons per one item you donate. These coupons provide you up to 30 percent off on clothing, shoes and accessories, and 15 percent off fragrance and cosmetics. I don’t know any department store that allows you to use coupons on perfume and makeup.

Your donations help local Goodwill organizations provide job placement and training services to benefit people in your own community.  I used to work as a mental health case manager, and I know firsthand that people really benefit from Goodwill’s programs. Now you see why I love this sale and cause so much.

 

Now on to the style piece. I live in the Midwest, Minnesota to be exact and winters can seem like a 6 month ordeal. So when Spring starts to roll around, I become overwhelmed with excitement to transition into anything other than boots and socks. I picked up these shoes to transition from Winter to Spring and they’re appropriate for various occasions.

Slides: These are super adorable for wearing around the house, and even a quick or in my case long shopping run. Love these embellished slides as well.

Sandals– You can not go wrong with a nude pair of sandals. Dress them up with a cute dress or down with some boyfriend jeans and you’ve got a stylish outfit on your hands.

Loafers– I’m pearl obsessed lately, and these green pearl loafers are perfection. 

Velvet blocked heels– I am not a huge fan of velvet shoes. I’ve never owned a pair but these block jeweled heels are too cute to pass up.

Booties: I love heel on these blue booties. Blue’s my favorite color ever, so these were an easy  pick. Boyfriend jeans, or skinny jeans, you can pretty much wear them any time.
