The Suite Life at Le Meridien Chambers Minneapolis

A really sweet welcome treat that sure put a smile on my face.

A light brunch at Marin upon check in.

A few weeks ago, I had a “daycation”  Le Meridien Chambers Hotel downtown Minneapolis, and it was pretty suite; pun intended. A posh stay with two of my friends before my birthday was just what I needed. I love a good narrative, and in effort for a sweet and concise post, I’m going to share my top highlights from my stay.

  1. The ambiance of the hotel in its entirety is just so posh and modern. From the art gallery on the first floor, the decor,  to the LUSH bed and bathroom, and the views of downtown, it was all so amazing! The super posh 850 square foot suite was a dream. This room is bigger than my studio apartment.
  2. Location- I love the proximity to everything you could want to possibly do. My friends and I had dinner at Seven Sushi restaurant and strolling Hennepin Avenue on a beautiful summer night was amazing. If you’re into art, your hotel room key gets you entry into the Walker Art Museum, of which I definitely plan to take advantage. Outside my window, was the Guthrie Theater, tons of restaurants, and landmarks.  We had brunch at Marin Restaurant upon checking in, and the cheeseburger was pretty amazing.
  3. Service- You tend to appreciate good service when you’ve experienced sub-par service, Trust! The staff were not only pleasant, but also super helpful. I called downstairs to find out where I could grab a bucket of ice for our wine. I was told they’d bring us a bucket of ice and some wine glasses. My friend and I struggled to open our wine bottle, and the front desk staff offered assistance in opening our wine. After a few unsuccessful attempts by the three of us to open the wine, she took it to the bar to have another staff member open it, and then brought it back to us. I was beyond appreciative of the extra effort.
  4. Room Service- No staycation is complete without room service, right? Having breakfast delivered in a beautiful display was a treat for me, even more so than the food, almost. The lattes were oh-my-yum.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And, to think, you don’t actually have to leave town for a mini-getaway.

In collaboration with Meridien Chambers Hotel. Thanks for supporting all collaborations here on the blog.
